Beautiful Scotland in Bloom - Neighbourhood Award’ 2006
Caol in Bloom was awarded a Certificate of Merit at the Beautiful Scotland in Bloom - Neighbourhood Awards for ‘good all round performance and for showing potential for outstanding achievement in the future’ .
The presentations took place at a seminar in Perth on 8th November. Margaret, Lil and Cathy attended.

Garden Competition 2006
The garden judging was done in July and August and the gardens and floral hanging baskets show a huge improvement each year making the judging more difficult. The presentations of certificates and silverware by Mr Hector MacLean on, Tuesday 3rd October at 7.30 p.m. in Caol Community Centre.

Garden Competition 2005
Alan Smith and Francis MacLeod did the final judging of the gardens. We held the presentation of silverware and certificates on Tuesday 5th September and Councillor Mrs. Olwyn Macdonald, Alan and Francis presented the awards. Councillor Macdonald praised our work and she spoke about how it is making a difference to the whole area.

Caol in Bloom Results 2004
Caol in Bloom took over the judging of the gardens in Caol Ward 4 years ago.
Preliminary assessment is done by 2 members teams. These teams select the first in each category.
For the past 3 years Vic MacPherson has done the final judging from the lists that the members gave to him.
Last year's presentations were held in October.
